He graduated from Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning and completed his master's degree on Urban Planning at the same university's Institute of Science. He started his career by working in the planning works of the revolving fund of the university for a while. Then, he continued it in Directorate of Urban Planning of İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality. He worked as an executive and administrator in the planning units of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, particularly in metropolitan planning studies and sectoral researches, as well as various Conservation Master Plans especially the master plan of Historical Peninsula (Fatih-Eminönü) and other construction plan works. Since 2014, he has been working as the Head of Development Planning and Urban Renewal Department at the Prime Ministry Housing Development Administration. He carried out R & D activities related with the preparation of development plans, urban design projects, and layout plans, the agreements, protocols, procurement, expropriation, exchange, sales, and transfer transactions of all types and sizes for the areas such as Reserve Areas, Illegal Housing Prevention Zones, Urban Transformation and Renewal Project Areas, and administrative lands to be applied. Since May 2019, he has been working as Counsel to the Mayor of Fatih Municipality.
