Orhan Demir

Deputy Secretary General, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality

Orhan Demir graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Middle East Technical University and completed his master degree at İstanbul Technical University. He has more than 33 years of experience in transportation planning projects. and worked for several urban transport system projects. He participated in several feasibility studies for all modes of urban transportation systems mainly in İstanbul and other cities in Turkey. He worked as transportation planner and project manager in transportation master plan studies both urban and regional levels. Orhan Demir worked as a lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. He is currently Deputy Secretery General of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.
