Koray Velibeyoğlu

Professor of City and Regional Planning, İzmir Institute of Technology

Koray Velibeyoğlu graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Dokuz Eylül University and completed her master's and doctoral studies at the İzmir Institute of Technology. He is a lecturer in the Department of City and Regional Planning in the İzmir Institute of Technology and he also held various administrative positions.

Development strategies, smart city studies, urban design theory and practice, knowledge management, asset-oriented local development, spatial development, local development, sustainable life strategies, city technologies are the areas of work. He was the coordinator of “İzmir Peninsula Sustainable Development Strategy” projects.
