Erkin Erimez

Erkin Erimez graduated from Boğaziçi University, Department of Electronics Engineering in 1986 and then completed his master's and doctoral studies at the same university.

He started his career in 1987 as a Research Assistant at Boğaziçi University and later started to work at Borusan Holding in 1990. Working in Borusan Group for 23 years, he took charge in Finance, Financial Affairs, Risk Management, Foreign Investments, Strategy, Sustainability, Corporate Governance, Public Relations and Commercial Law. He was the representative of Borusan Group in the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and served in various working groups within this structure and with the EU.

He joined ARGE Consultancy in 2013 and works in the areas of strategy, sustainability, risk management, corporate governance and board processes. He also teaches “Fundamentals of Corporate Sustainability Strategy” at Boğaziçi University Executive MBA program.

Memberships: Global Compact Turkey Network Board of Directors, Corporate Governance Association Board of Directors, Argüden Governance Academy Academic Council, Turkey Integrated Reporting Network Steering Committee, various working groups of TÜSİAD.

He also holds a CMB Corporate Governance Rating License.
