Eda Ünlü Yücesoy, PhD, Associate Professor at the department of Sociology and Senior Researcher at the Centre for Urban Studies in Istanbul Şehir University. She received BSc and MSc degrees from the department of City and Regional Plannning at Middle East Technical University and PhD from Human Geography and City and Regional Planning at Utrecht University. Her research and publications are focused on social, economic, and cultural geography, urban history, urban planning, public space, and spatial transformation of Istanbul in the 20th century.
