Bülent Açıkgöz

Bülent Açıkgöz graduated from Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban and Regional Planning in 2003 with a bachelor's degree. He received his first master's degree in Economics in 2005 from the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences of the same university. He received his second master's degree in European Union Regional Development Policies from the University of Bremen, Germany, and is currently a PhD candidate at Middle East Technical University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of City and Regional Planning. Since 2006, Bülent Açıkgöz has served in managerial and technical positions in various programs and projects within the scope of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in the fields of inclusive and sustainable growth. His areas of expertise include sustainable and inclusive growth, local socio-economic development, competitiveness, clustering, regional development, social policies and services, and urban policy planning.
