Current Responsibilities

In August 2008, Alkaş Shopping Mall Management Company and JLL Company merged. After this merger Avi Alkas continues to serve as Country Chairman of JLL Turkey.

Experiences

Having more than 20 years of experience in shopping mall concept development, leasing and management, Avi Alkaş established his own company Alkaş in 1997 after serving professionally for Akmerkez, Carousel and İzmit Outlet Center. Avi Alkaş has assumed important roles in Maxi, Karada Marina, Olivium Tepe Nautilus, Armada, KayseriPark, KoruPark, İstinyePark, Vadi Istanbul, the projects of Renaissance Group throughout Turkey, and Turkey's leading projects such as Emaar Square and Zorlu Center.

Education and Certificates

Avi Alkaş also serves as a Board Member of the European Advisory Board of the International Association of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and serves on the ICSC European Award Jury. Alkaş is a faculty member at the ICSC J. Riordan Professional Development School.

Having completed his master's degree at Boğaziçi University, Department of Business Administration, Avi Alkaş also holds the titles of MRICS, CRX, CSM, CMD and CLS.
