Alim Arlı

Assoc. Prof. Alim Arlı completed his BA and MA at Sociology Department of Ankara University. In 2009, he was awarded Sociology PhD degree at Istanbul University. He was post-doctoral fellow at University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010 and 2011. He was faculty member of Pamukkale University Sociology Department between 2009-2014. Since 2014, he has been a faculty member of Istanbul Sehir University Sociology Department. Currently, he is director of the Center for Higher Education Studies at Istanbul Sehir University.

Research Areas: Social theory, the history of Turkish Sociology, urban sociology, Sociology of higher education.
