Kelmend Zajazi

Executive Director, NALAS

Kelmend Zajazi is the Executive Director of NALAS, the Network of Associations of Local Authorities of South East Europe since 2007. Mr Zajazi is a member of the Council of Europe’s Independent Expert Group on European Charter of Local Self Governments. Previously, Mr. Zajazi managed USAID Local Government Reforms and Democracy Network Programs, served as an Advisor of the Minister of Health and worked with the European Commission Humanitarian Aid Office in Macedonia. Zajazi is a Medical Doctor and holds a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
