Gökhan Özertan

Professor of Economics, Boğaziçi University

Gökhan Özertan received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2001. Since 2001 he has been working in the Department of Economics at Boğaziçi University where he is currently a professor of economics. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in microeconomics, statistics, econometrics, economics of innovation, and agricultural economics. His research interests include modeling of agricultural and environmental processes, technology use in agriculture, impacts of climate change, commodity price movements, intellectual property rights, and economic impacts of regulations in information technologies.
